A friend of mine told me about her 2014 Vision Board and how she attained many of her goals. She said her board was a constant reminder of what she wanted to achieve that year. This year I decided to map out some goals I would like to attain. Here's my vision for myself in 2015!

Tourist come to the south for warm weather, but the Dirty South has experienced a crazy shift in the climate! The snow and ice has left many stranded on the highways! Children had to sleep in their schools overnight... While some people left their vehicles to sleep in gas stations and grocery stores... The police stated that they will not respond to any accident unless there were more than 2 cars involved! Of course people of the northern states criticize us for how we are reacting, but keep this in mind we are a big city where plenty of you all decided to live in... As a southern girl, it's not often we experience this type of weather... While our major highways and roads are locked down with angry motorist, plenty of families are enjoying the white blanket outside their homes... It's beautiful to see... 

I've turned the page and started a new chapter...

I promise to protect myself as well as you, I promise to listen with an open mind and listen to you. I promise to be there when life grabs you by the feet, I promise to be at your side so you won't feel any grief. I promise to show you how to love within, I promise to show you how to let go of the pain inside. I promise to display a honorable, intelligent, and strong black woman, I promise to be the best mommy I can be!! I love you Twinky!! 

There's been numerous times where I've put some else's feelings before my own. I've tried to be patient and wait for things to change. I allowed others to get away with saying things which hurt me in the end. I'm done with putting some else's happiness before my own. So here's to My Happily Ever After... *Cheese*
